Just today I've been getting reports that a couple of our teachers in one of our buildings recieved obscene messages in there Audix voicemail, when asked if there was an extension they said that Audix gave them the extension of the sender, I've sinced checked that extrension and it's assigned as one of the extensions that Audix uses, this extension isn't tied to a phone, and the call was recieved at night around 7 with which sounds like a student using profanity. Also they made the call private. Are system isn't setup to do any kind of traceing so is there any suggestions or ways of finding out just were the call came from?
Are phone system is a Definity G3R.

Appreciate any help I can get on this.

Hi
If you use CDR then check out these logs, might give you some more info.

Good luck

Dan: The caller is transfering using *T within Audix. I wonder if one of the list measurement commands on Audix might help. I don't think CDR will help because the caller is inbound to the PBX. You might want to restrict the *T in audix to Mailbox users only using "enhanced_nocover_0". Also try list activity of the receiver of the message to see if Audix will point you to the offending station.

Good luck.
