InterClient compatible IB versions: 5, 6
InterClient driver name: interbase.interclient.Driver
InterClient JDBC protocol: jdbc:interbase:
InterClient JDBC protocol version: 20001
InterClient expiration date: no expiration date

Testing database URL jdbc:interbase://localhost/E:/Angel/projects/pazhorowitz/db/INTERNAL.GDB.

java.lang.VerifyError: (class: interbase/interclient/ErrorKey, method: _$372 signature: (Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/String;I)V) Expecting to find unitialized object on stack

Hi 6ka62isd -

Im afraid I cant help much with this one. The only thing I can say is that it does look like its a compatability problem with the Java virtual machine.

It may be worth checking out the Sun Java site and looking for any issues regarding Java and XP. I have noticed in recent times that Microsoft seem to be trying to sabotage Java technology. In fact Winodws XP ships without the Java virtual machine at all. I take it you did install Java on the XP machine yourself ? Anyway,You can d/l the plug in for XP at the second link.

A good source for Java info (and has a searchable forum)

For specific info on Java and Windows XP

Please keep us posted on your progress..

Cheers..

I have had this problem. That's the solution:

1-Firebird Interclient 2.01
2-interclient.jar COMPILED WITH JDK1.3.1 (IMPORTANT)

There is no mistake!!!!

OK?
