Object Manager locking Oracle tables

Good afternoon

I am using Object Manager 8.0.2, my data warehouse is Oracle 9i.

Whenever I am copying objects across from 1 project source to another the tables within the Oracle environment are locked and we cannot load any data into them or change them in any way.

This never used to happen on previous versions of Object Manager.

Has anyone else experienced this and, if so, what actions were taken to rectify this.

I was just browsing for the first time in a while and saw this post. Are you still getting the error? If so, can you possibly post exactly what it says?

I've never gotten that message using object manager. I'm currently working with 8.0.2 against Oracle 10g though.

Don't know why it happened but since I posted the problem seems to have sorted itself out and we don't get the error any more.
