O2, screen blanks during install

Hi all.

So I recentally obtained an O2, and am trying to install irix 6.3 from CD. Everything seems to work fine, I go into maintainance mode, click system install, and get a progress bar which says "copying installation tools to disk". Once the progress bar fills up the screen goes black, and never comes back. Light on the front of the box stays green, wont respond to the reset button, I end up having to unplug it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Connect a dump terminal or win-hyper terminal to o2 box's serial port 1 and then do everything from there.
You will know what exactly happening there.

Setting for term :9600/stp=1/bits=8/parity=none
