nwrecover can't open display

I am trying to do a restore and the nwrecover command comes back with 'can;t open dislpay :0.0. I then export my display and it still comes back with 'can't open display xxx.xxx.xxx:0.0 Help please

Try with an other xwindow application, like xclock
Is it the same error message?
Try with:
export DISPLAY=xx.xx.xx.xx:0
