We have a problem where we are trying to build a Border Manager box. We cannot give it the correct IP number and also have it on-line as we are using another server (non netware) as the proxy. We need to have it on-line as it wants to know it's context and what tree it goes in etc. Is there any way to change the IP after we have built it?

Thanks Terry, if you find anything else more detailed please let me know, very helpful anyway
Regards Chris

Good luck, there are about 20 places you need to change. It's really easier to reinstall a server with the correct address than thy to change the ip address.

Sure, you can change it. But, how many apache services are you running. If you change the IP, you will need to reinstall all of the i* services, iPrint, Imanage, etc...

you dont need to reinstall services

follow the tid above and change the conf's and it works fine
make sure everything sync's ok

if it's an older tree then after changing - you may want to run pkidiag on it as well
