NVM4.04C "Message for you" Access

Good Morning all,

Norstar Nam 4.04C, Fiber, User wants to be able when he gets the reading in his LCD Display

Message for you
MSG

Be able to hit MSG prompt key an automatically take him to prompt of:

PSWD:

Cannot find Auto Login in this particular unit?

Anyone know how to set this up so when User presses

MSG for their mailbox this will happen?

I have an idea, yet have not tried it on the bench first.

Any suggestions.

I don't believe auto login is available on the NAM voicemail, but it is available on the CallPliot.

They lady I am working with for is telling me that

When she use to hit "MSG" it would take her to the

Pswd: (prompt)

I would only like to know if this can happen with a programming function or a trick to the login point of the
function?

I have only to know that when you hit "MSG"

it will take you to VM called
CALL ERASE

Press CALL

says in screen Pswd: (prompt)


I know this is not Auto Login.....

I have never seen a NAM do it this way unless you programm a fixed key with F981 "OPEN VM"

AS LONG AS SHE HAS A PHONE WITH 3 SOFTKEYS ON DISPLAY AND MBOX IS PROGRAMMED FOR MSG INDICATION TO THE ASSIGNED SET THAT WHAT SHE SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO AUTO LOGIN IS NOT AVAILABLE ON A NAM AND THERE IS NO TRICK TO LETTING IT HAPPEN...ONLY ON CALL PILOTS

You can program a key to be F981 so that when the person has "Message for You" on their display, they can press that key and go to Pswd:...instead of pressing the display key for MSG.

I am not losing my mind....
