Was wondering if anyone had run across the following situation with an NVM voicemail running on an MICS. An internal call or a transferred call will not forward properly to vm. As the internal caller your display will indicate that the call is forwarding to vm, but will suddenly come back with a "Not available" message. Your display will then prompt you for an extension number. You can put in a number and the extension will be called, but the whole process starts over again. The system has been running fine for years. This is a new development and is occurring system-wide. I have verified that the vm DN has not changed and that the forwarding destination for extensions matches that DN. I have tried changing the vm DN and have moved that DN to a different port. All ports are active and there is nothing unusual in the programming of the other vm ports. The vm software level is 4.0.04E. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

All channels could be busy. Use Channel Monitor in Ftr915.

That sounds like one of those mysterious, intermittent, PRI software incompatibilities. What version is the MICS and does it have PRI?

Appreciate the feedback, gentlemen. The site does have a PRI but I didn't bother checking the software version, as I was running out of time to get the issue resolved. No amount of resetting or rebooting fixed the problem. I ended up initializing the database and reprogramming. Didn't want to take the chance of reinstalling the glitch by reloading a backup. This did take care of the problem.

If you're not running 6.1 or higher software in a release 2 or higher NVRAM pack, you may find that your problem is only gone temporarily, or that you now have other issues that could be totally unrelated to PRI. There are many known issues in those older versions when using PRI. If I were you, I'd check that software and that ram pack!
