NVM 4. Dial 9 in CCR tree menu routes to groups? 1

Hi

This is the first time I have made a CCR tree. All seems fine except that when a caller dials 9 in a menu they get transfered to a group.
I do not remember if I accepted an alternat language when I built the tree.
BIlingual is set to N
Primary lang is english.
I bet you may have more questions....Please ask and I will try to answer them.

Change Bilingual to = Y if you want a second language (9)

Otherwise your Path choices are only 1-8

BTW 9 is the leading digit for group lists.
You can add members to groups such as group 901, 902 etc.

I would presume if you change bilingual = Y then 9 for ALT language would override transfer to a group.

All though not sure why 9 would transfer to a group to begin with, would have thought it need to be *9XX but never played with the both before much.

I believe bilingual is off. I just don't see why it is going to a group. Yes I have 2 groups assiged. Maybe it best to turn it on and put same menues in again in english?!! Any other ideas you might have?

I don't see any reference in the books to the use of CCR 9 with bilingual off. Could be another undocumented feature.

Record something in the Alt language greeting and see if there is a difference.

Sounds buggy, if bilingual is off I don't see why pressing 9 goes to a group mailbox.
Curious...which group box? 901 or 902 or random?

When caller hits 9 calls go to my first hunt group DN707.

Since this "feature was found durring testing it has yet to become a problem....But I am still tring to find resolve.

Ohh Hunt Group, I was thinking Group mailbox.

Are you testing with the same phone everytime you press 9?
DTMF issue maybe and needs the patch.

Log into F983 then press 2 to turn Bilingual on or off, let us know if same issue for both settings.

Idealy you should get bionic betty telling you that 9 is not an option.

What version NAM? 4.0 or 4.1?
What is the KSU sofwate version?

Did you do a REINSTALL by logging into F983 then pressing 1?
If not maybe the system is corrupted, reinstalling might help clear the bugs.

Yes happens on other phones also.

With Bilingual off will exibit same problem.
With Bilingual on will repeat same menu again. No betty.

No I did not do this.... Not certain what it will do? but tried on a second system and did do reset and initialize and then a restore from floppy from bad system and still did same thing.

If this is not somthing you think is simple or I over looked or did not understand,,,, I can simply go to bilingual. I am willing to work further if you or anyone can help.

Why are they dialing 9? If auto att and a CCR and there is no option of 9.

I agree. I just was trying to understand why. I can switch to bilingual and that is acceptable also.
