I want to convert an incomming number to an abbreviated dialing number (which is translated to an external number), but this doesn't work in BC11. It works in BC6.3.24 and BC 7.2 and BC 9.0.

<nutrp;
NUMBER CONVERSION DATA
ENTRY CNVTYP NUMTYP PRE TRC NEWTYP CONT BCAP HLC
30291 0 2 5 1
2129 0 12 88354 4 0
2182 0 12 88356 4 0

Does anyone have some tips or solutions?

Ron.

Hello RonnieZ,

Make it an personal number with external destination in the list on choice 1.

Kings

For example:
Incoming number = 2129
nansi:numse=2129, numtyp=ac;
adcoi:abb=2129, tra=0012345, class=0&&3;
where 00 is dest, and, so 0012345 is external number.
Or what?

Hirei that is working but RonnieZ has extension number 2129 in the MD110 but the number is not allowed to reache from external. The number must be reroute to another external number

This will not work because it is tromboning. There is other way to make this going without patching it. Instead of direct ABB, create an ACD group example:
ACGRI:GRP=8940,SERV=1000,SEL=11063,TRAF=15,QUE=00000000101;
ACGRI:GRP=8941,SERV=1000,SEL=11063,TRAF=15,QUE=00000000101;
CDINI:DIR=8940,DIV=88354;
CDINI:DIR=8941,DIV=88356;

Then change your NUTRI to PRE=8940 also 8941. This should work.

in addittion to patcher's trick, from bc11 you can use group hunts to to this. be aware that you are limited to 32 acd groups in a 1 LIM system.

GHGRI:GRP=8940,SERV=1000,TRAF=15,QUE=0,SEL=00063;
CDINI:DIR=8940,DIV=ABB; (ABB is you abbreviated nr)

cheers,
Daddy

Hello all,

sorry for the late response because of workload, personal stuff and vacation.

ACD and Profiles are no options because of System limits and Licenses.

I haven't tryed the solution of lalrl, chancing the cnvtyp.
If that works, Ericsson have changed the working of the nutri because it works in BC6, BC7, BC8 and BC9 the way I described.

Thanks.

Ron.

My opinion is that you have to do Call Trace for incoming call. With this you will find two important things which are:
1. Type of number
2. Digits that Public Switch is sending.
When you know this two two parameters, you can set the type of the number and cut (truncate) or add any number you want.

in fact the working of NUTRI has NOT been changed (only enhanced) since BC7. In fact, the real problem here is: TROMBONING, Since BC8 (correct me if I'm wrong) it's not allowed to redirect an incoming call from a certain route to that same route. only call cases that are allowed are external follow me and group overflows, so if you are in this case, NUTRI and ADCOI, WILL NOT WORK. From BC12, loop avoidance (tromboning) can be controlled via an ASPAC parameter.

Ronniez, did you read my suggestion? this is the only solution that works...

Hello whosrdaddy,

I can't agree with you, it works in BC9. But maybe you hit a point, I have to check the routes, because on the Bc9 MD110 I have separate routes for incoming, outgoing and bothway. I haven't looked at the routes on the BC11.

Ron

try this on a single incomming /outgoing route on your BC9 system and I guarantee you that it WONT work (I have the PLEX code here in front of me)

You can read plex as much as you like, but
sorry to tell you whosrdaddy in in BC9 you can have DID number as numtyp=ac. This function is not working in
BC10 -->

Trident

Trident, I have this working in my BC12 lab system, all you need is MORE than one route [ponder]

yeah offcourse, but you need patches to do this, I don't know for your AS but it isn't a STANDARD feature (from BC12, this is the case)

here's the patch description :

[tt]
/*----------------------------------------------------------------------*/
/* Relation Task Id (FR Number) : */
/* Relations to other FR's */
/* TF 66122 */
/* Relations from other FR's */
/* TF 77244 */
/*----------------------------------------------------------------------*/
/* Short.Descr : ALLOW TROMBONING ON ROUTES */
/*----------------------------------------------------------------------*/
/* Fault.Descr.And.Explanation : */
/* THIS IS A TRANSFER OF BC8 PATCH 66122 TO BC9. */
/* ORIGINAL FR FOLLOWS:- */
/* */
/* THIS CORRECTION PERMITS AN INCOMING CALL TO BE REDIRECTED BACK OUT */
/* ON THE SAME ROUTE. */
/* THIS FUNCTIONALITY IS ALREADY ALLOWED FOR ECF AND DISA CALLS. */
/* THIS IS A SPECIAL *SITE DEPENDANT* PATCH FOR A FEW UK CUSTOMERS. */

Hi

Move to BC12, there is an ASPAC 118 that remove this limitation. We had the same problem in BC11 and it was the lonely solution to solve it via AC.

Is this still an issue? Its tromboning. RonnieZ you don't need license to create an ACD group. If you follow my advice long time ago, it should be working now. And fouesnant, you are wrong, 118 is use for networking and not for PSTN.

Hi Patcher

I may be wrong, but here is what I read from Alex and use in BC12

105 PARNUM=118 Loop-back avoidance check selection
105.1 FORMAT
PARNUM=118, PARVAL=D 1
0 Loop-back avoidance check is not allowed
1 Loop-back avoidance check is allowed

105.2 FUNCTION
The parameter states if loop-back avoidance check will be done in a transit exchange. The loop-back avoidance check is done for avoiding transit calls on the same route. The default value for this PARNUM is 1.

105.3 EXAMPLE
In case of transit exchange, Loop-back avoidance check is not allowed i.e. transit on the same route is allowed.

PARNUM=118,PARVAL=0

I have tested it on customer site to make a loop from incoming call to outgoing call, and that was the purpose of this request.
