I have a voicemail box with call director enabled, that does a supervised transfer to a speed call number that goes to an external number. When a call is forwarded, the same caller ID shows up (default for the system) for all calls. Is there a way to pass the caller ID of the phone that is calling to the phone that is being transfered to?

This is not possible if you are in the UK
The CLID is from the system that calls and not the originator.

There is a COS option for passing orginating caller ID on transfers but not sure if it will help you in your situation.

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.

I looked through the fcos and I have 260-264 and 280 set, but it still just shows the main line as the caller ID. Could there be a setting on the Mitel side to allow that? I have a 3300 with firmware version 4.0.

I managed to get it working. Enabling "Display held caller ID on Transfer" on the voicemail port COS.

You got it that's what I meant with COS option.Couldn't remember what it was called.
