Numeric Value out of Range

Can't say I have got that error before?

Here is the full version:
"odbc error:[microsoft][odbc sql server driver] numeric value out of range"

I am using CR 8.5 and SQL server 2000
The number is an 11 digit number that is in the database that I am reporting from. eg; 12345678901

How can I fix it?

Thanks for the help - I found the error - there were changes made to the database that affected the reports - just reset the location - seems to be ok now.
