Hi,

I hope someone can help me out there.

I am using crystal reports 8.0 and tries to make a report out of data
from IBM AS/400 and a "movex" database. And the problem is that the
database-tabel contains numbers with 4 desimals (double) but when
the same numbers are presented in crystal reports they are converted
to integer-formats (if I imports the same data in to a Access-database
the numberformats are right, so it seems that the CR is the problem)

My ODBC driver is: Cliant Access ODBC driver (32-bit)
ver: 4.00.00.01
Manufacturer: IBM-Corporation

Anyone with a tips on this problem and how I car resolve it?

Regards Stig

Stig,

Have you tried the following?

Select relevant field and right click;
Select 'Format Field';
Use 'Decimals' drop down list to select '1.0000' format

Paula,

Have tryed that, and the only thing I gets is integer with 4 desimals (like 4,0000). The numberformat is changing when the numbers is imported from the database and in to crystal reports.

Something wrong with the CR-setup or ODBC-driver?

stigejg: Check your File/Options/Format settings as this could be forcing your fields to integer only. Alternatively I suggest you check the documentation for the ODBC driver to determine if there are any configuration settings you need to set. Have you tried accessing this with any other ODBC driver e.g Intersolv etc.? David C. Monks

David,

I have checked evrything you suggested with no success. So no I have to try a new ODBC-driver.

Or try Cognos Impromtu (I've heard that it's a similar product) may be i have better luck with it.
