Hi there.

Just need to know if something is possible, as I can't find anything in my documents.

A customer is having a call forwarded to a night service, but they want the caller to see the number it is being forwarded to... yes I'm serious. Customers have such interesting requests....

I've looked under number substitution / number replacement, and other variants, but can't find anything.

Has anyone here done it?

Regards

what kind of CO line do you have ( analog, SIP-trink, ISDN)?

There are no stupid questions, there are only stupid answers!

Hi Kizo.

Just plain old analog lines.

Regards

None of that.
The PBX does not send any information to outside troght analog CO.
Can you activate FWD at the operator side?
Or you can use email notification for not-answred calls

Is the forwarding destination number the same every time you forward to it?
If yes - you can use ICDG as a night call destination. Set the forwarding destination number as an overflow destination for that ICDG. Then enable Queuing Time Table for that ICDG. In this QTT play previously recorded OGM (such as: "Your call will be forwarded to tech support engineer") as sequence 1 and set "Overflow" action as sequence 2.
