Number plan change help

Afternoon, I just took over a position in which the company uses the antigen phone system. I have the altiServ admin working, and have done a lot of the basic stuff.

Problem is when people use the redial feature. We use 9 to get an outside line, and if the number is 917, they dial, 919171231234. A few times it actually dialed 911!

The call restriction shows 911 as the emergency, so I figured I would change 8 to be the outside trunk line. I did change 8 to be an outside line, but to get this to work, I need to change all the lines in each trunk to now use 8 right? If so does anyone else see an issue? I tried to remove 9 as the trunk but got a msg saying 9 is being used as trunk access code, so I assume this would be removed once all the trunk lines have been switched to use 8.

I change trunk access all the time on my Altigen Phone system. You just need to make sure that all the speed dial numbers have been changed to used the new access code.
