I currently have a cross tab report in XI that gives me 52 weeks of sales data for my items. I want to run a calculation that will look through the cross tab and tell me the number of weeks that there were sales more than a certain amount. Is this possible?

Please explain how your crosstab is set up (row, column, summary fields) and also explain whether you are looking for the number of weeks greater than a certain sales amount for each item, or across all items.

Hi,

Sorry for being vague:

Here is a general schematic:

Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Calculation
Item 1 Qty Sold Qty Sold Qty Sold countif(qty>10)
Item 2
Item 3

Let me know if that is clear or if you need additional information.

A lot. I was looking at how I could create a manual cross tab to do this type of thing but for 52 weeks, it would be pretty daunting.

You can do this by creating running totals in the formatting areas of the summary fields, but it requires you to specify a new variable per row. If you are interested in that method, let me know.

There might be a way to do this with arrays, but arrays are not my forte.
