Number of servers needed

I want to know can I use 2 servers as DC's and GC's with Windows 2000 DNS and 2 Exchange servers one a front-end server and the other as a back-end server to run Exchange?

Yeah.

If your not using the Front-End in a DMZ then I don't think I would spend the money. Would need more details to really tell if it is needed. Dan

The Front-End will be in the DMZ the Back-End will hold the mailboxes for 5500 users.

Keep in mind this requires Enterprise Exchange which is like $3k more :)
