Hello, I am from Mitel world trying to start servicing Nortel BCM50. There are 2 lines (073 and 074 appearing on 2 extensions 2225 and 2226). Ideal scenario - they both ring on both sets, if no one answers after 6 rings - 073 should go to 2225 voicemal box, 074 would go to 2226 VM. But somehow they both go to main general mailbox after 4 rings. I can make them transfer to the extensions through CallPilot CCR after 3 rings, but if I put 4 or more rings on CCR - default voicemail overrides it. Is there a way to stop them from going to default voicemail and how to increase the amount of rings before the VM in general?

This means your lines 073 and 074 are ringing on another set that CFNA to Vmail in 4 rings and it is either your recpt. telephone with GD attached or a telephone with no Mbox attached.

Adversity is Opportunity

You need to make those sets prime on the Lines.

L73 prime to 2225

L73 prime to 2226

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

If you two CCR trees available, set them up as "Home Mailbox Nodes" And assisgn the individual mailboxes to the diffrerent CCR trees.

Have L73 set for AA after 6 rings Table W
Then have Table W use CCR tree X(the new CCR tree you just created)
Have L74 set for AA after 6 rings Table Y
Then have Table Y use CCR tree Z(the second CCR tree you just created)

This set up uses extra Greeting Tables and CCR trees but will work perfectly.

For the previous answer to work, go to the active physical lines, highlight the line and check out assigned DNs. Make sure they only appear on those two DNs, and make sure neither of those two DNs are Call forwarded on busy or ring no answer.
