There is an auto attendance message in place on one of the numbers. It takes 3 rings before the message plays. How do you reduce it to just a single ring?

Is this an inmail vm or the um-8000 vm blade?
If it is the inmail, then how are MB's 22-02/05/08/01-04 set?

In the last thread, you said I have the inmail CF voicemail. If that's what you're referring to here, do you mean 22-02, 22-05, 22-08 and 01-04? There isn't 01-XX.

If you have the inmail vm, then the incoming call set up needs to be traced via MB's 22-02, 22-05, 22-04, 22-08, 22-01-04.
If the trunks are set to normal in 22-02 (mode 1 is usually day mode), and trunk ring group 1 in 22-05, and 22-08 is set to 102 (overflow to auto attn), then the timer is located in MB 22-01-04 in seconds. ~ 6 seconds is a ring cycle.
If you have the UM-8000 voice mail blade, then the number of rings before answer is programmed in the voice mail itself. A little more involved, since you need to be able to log in with a user name and password for the voice mail administrator.

I've taken the below screenshots. It looks like 22-02 isn't like we expected. I used different numbers in 22-01-04 (Normal DIL Incoming Call No Answer Time) and they had no effect on how long it rings before the message starts.

You are using the VRS message to answer the calls. Try adjusting 22-14-01 = VRS Delayed Message for IRG – 1st Delayed Message Start Time in seconds.

I made this value 1, 4, 8, 20 in order. Nothing seemed to have changed.

Have you tried the delayed VRS option in 22-02? Also, in 40-10-04 there is a timer, VRS no answer timer. It may be involved in this.

I'm afraid I don't see a delayed VRS option in 22-02 (Screenshot above). But I tried 2, 5 and 10 in 40-10-04. Nothing changed.

May be old software. Delayed VRS may not be available in your software level.

I appreciate your trials to help. Thanks a lot!

Hi, set normal temporary on 22-02 the trunks. See when you call again if you have delay or no cid. In this case change 81-01-09 from 90ms to 103ms or more.

I set 22-02 as normal. The value of 81-01-09 is 63. I made it 33, 103, 123 in order. It stopped going to the message and was just ringing. Before that, I just changed 81-01-09 without touching 22-02. No noticeable effect.
