Hi, I need some help: I need to configure a device by telnet, but I don't know what to put in "Number of Bits for Host Part". My netmask is 255.255.254.0, what bit number shall I use? Thanks.

Thanks Kiskokid, do you know any site where I can find more informations about this subject?

Don't you mean 23?
mask - 255.255.254.0
bits - 8 8 7 0 = 23

23 is the number of network bits and 9 is the number of hosts bits for a 255.255.254.0 subnet
