Hi,
CM6.2, HA pair.
Server B set to local domain NTP sources "tic" and "toc".
Both sources ping OK and query OK, and server syncs time fine.
Server A will ping both sources fine, but the query state button is greyed out, and NTP will not start.
running command line ntpdate -d ip_address reports PING OK but then "no server suitable for synchronisation found"
Both servers are on the same sub-net.
When routine interchange takes place, clock drifts off ( as expected )
Why isn't Server A able to query NTP, and how can I fix please?
Speak softly and carry a big switch
