Hi,
I have a 2924M-XL switch running IOS 12.0(5)WC10. I cannot get it to sync the time with the NTP server. All of my other switches are able to do so, but not this one. Any suggestions? I can ping the NTP server from that switch with no problems.

Thank you,

where is the NTP server ? Can you ping the server from the switch . If you can't get it from the server try pointing it to the nearest cisco device is pulling the time from the server ok and see if it can pull it from there .

I can ping the server from the switch. The other switches on the same subnet as this switch can pull the time from the same NTP server.

Thank you,

Not sure , we have the same version and it works ok with ntp . Should just be 2 statements , ntp source (we use vlan 1) and the ntp server statement . We don't try to go multiple hops to the server , we just pull it from the L3 device it is attached to .

That's what I have in there. I have another 20+ switches on the same subnet pulling the date fine, but not this switch. I even tried to update to the latest IOS and redo config from scratch.
