NTOP web page unreacheable

hi,

I post my question here because i don't find any forum to post it.

I've installed ntop 3.3 on a RedHat EL4.
It works find but suddenly i was not abble to acces ntop web page.
My browser is on the same subnet as the redhat box.

netstat tells me the tcp port is open :

tcp 0 0 :::3000 :::* LISTEN

Ethereal shows me that i receive and icmp type 3 code 3 "Port Unreacheable" .

From another windows box on the same subnet i can't reach ntop page.
But from a windows box on another subnet i do can reach the ntop page.

I'm not sure it is an ntop probleme.
Perhaps RedHat have a kind of firewall wich forbid the connection when there is to many traffic ?
(but perhaps it is really an ntop problem.. ( )

Don't know what ntop is, but if you can reach it from another subnet it shouldn't be a ntop problem, looks more like a routing issue.

What is the output of netstat -rn?

netstat -nr says

But my windows box is in the same subnet than the ntop box.
And i can connect to it whith ssh. So i don't think routing is bad .

Look at /sbin/iptables -L to check firewall settings.

If it were NTOP, I don't think you would get a "port unreachable" error

Okay, i have stop all services and just keep sshd running.
it's better.
Iptables were probably my problem. Better say : the probleme is that i did not check the settings of iptables before, i keep iptables -L in mind for the next time.

Now ntop is frozing the linux box, i going to open another thread.
