I'm currently trying to work out of its possibe to connect two PC's to my NTL 1MB broadband modem without a hub or a router. What I've been told by the shops where I bought the network cards was that all I need to do is connect my second PC to my main PC via the two network cards and a x-over cable, and have my main PC connected to the net. And obviously set up the two comps using ICS on XP. Apparently if I do it like this, my main PC which is connected straight to the net should act as a router.

Does that sound right?
