Hi...Can anyone tell me what the relationship between NTDK84AA and NTDK23AA? newbie here...thanks...

NTDK84 is a dual fiber daughter board that is installed on the main cabinet CPU card to give fiber connection to additional cabinets where the fiber receiver cards are. This is the communication link between the CPU and additional cabinets.

Also the NTDK84 provides the link for cabinets 1 and 3, the main cabinet as 0. An additional NTDK84 would be for Cab's 2 and 4.

Thanks you so much for a fast reply..My second question now is, can any one knows how to program or configure the NTDK84aa and NTDK23aa? What are the LD's are we going to use....

The the CPU will since the additional cabinets and they will sink to the main. Then program the cards as you need. ie... Cab 1 - slot 1 is card 11,ect,ect.

Ah ok, you mean once I put the NTDK84AA from Cab 1 and the Ntdk23aa to Cab 3, the cpu will auto sense tha Cab 3???please correct me if im wrong or misunderstood your reply...it s help me a lot...

The NTDK84 should be in cab 0, the NTDK23 in cab 1 and/or 3. You should use cab 1 first. You got to talk Nortelezz lol. Everything starts with "zero". The bottom fiber connection (I think) on the NTDK84 is for cab 1 and the second for cab 3.
