Hi,

I'm having difficulties getting familiar with Win2000 NTBackup scheduling. Any help is appreciated!
I had set up daily backup selections as a .bks file, and scheduled jobs to run daily, using the backup wizard. Then I deleted one of the jobs, and now none of the scheduled jobs run. I checked the status in the Task Scheduler and it says "Job could not start!"
I heve deleted all the jobs and re-created them, with no joy. Right now I am releasing the job manually each day.
What am I missing?
Thanks,
Rankin

Jump1ng,

Cheers mate, I realised I hadn't input the administrator password at the set user to run job screen. Once I did this it was all gravy, but I wouldn't have clocked it without reading that faq.
The part about testing task scheduler with a calc opener was what led me to the solution.

Thanks again,
Rankin
