NTBackup - The operation was not performed because the specified media

I am trying to backup the Information Store on a Windows 2000 SP4 Exchange 2000 SP3 Server to a network drive which is mapped on the Exchange Server.

I get the following error in the logs every night:

"The operation was not performed because the specified media cannot be found"

Any ideas?

So your ntbackup job simply creates a backup file on a shared network drive?

You say it is mapped, so I'm assuming you are mapping it to a lettered drive?

Did this ever work? If so, when did it stop?
