No need since Caller ID is already built in on 3X8 DR5 & DR5.1.

Even if you hooked it up to test you would not know if it even works since the programming is for the built in CLID, their is no separate programming.

I believe all sets can have caller ID with 5.1

I didn't think so ,Dr.5.1- 3x8 i think u program the set you want usually x21 ,, i didn't think you could program more then 1 set to work??

They can indeed, but only if you answer or press F811/LineButton.

Auto Call ID for more than 1 phone did not come out until CICS 2.0 and MICS 6.1

It's just dumb hardware, it only relays caller id, it is the feature programming that you need.
