Hi,

after an nt4 migration to win2003, new created users cannot access shares on old nt4 PDC server, I guess is not normal if the win2003 DC is not in "native mode", but the server was raised to windows 2003 functionnality!

Is there a way to give share access to new created users to nt4 shares ?

Thank you.

You'll have to set up a trust relation between the NT4 domain and W2003 domain. You'll then have to set the NT4 computer to allow users from the other domain to access the computer. They can then access the shares but you'll have to set up access in the folders below the share.

The servers are in the same domain and the the old PDC (nt4)look like a BDC.
