Hi all

Wonder if any of you can help????

One our offices has just had an ASDL line installed and we wont to use this instead of the existing ISDN line.
We have been given our own fixed IP no's for the ADSL router etc but obviously the range is different than our
LAN.
The server is running NT4 SP6 with MS Proxy 2.0.
Obviously we want users to connect to the web via the proxy.
Once we have the above working satisfactory I want to introduce VPN.

Whats the the best way of implementing the above into our LAN/WAN, I've read somewhere that I will need to install another NIC?

Advice Please

Thanks in advance.

install a second nic in the proxy server,
attach the DSL modem to the second NIC
don't enable IP forwarding on your proxy server Peter Van Eeckhoutte
