NT4 and Novell 4.10.2

Hi i have a PC running NT4 and Novell Netware 4.10.2, whenever i map a network drive it takes ages as by default it searches novell as a pose to NT drives! Is their a way of changing this?

I'm assuming that you're trying to map a drive to a Novell Server. The first thing I would look is the Novell Client Version. In the Novell client there is Options for IPX or IP, I've notice some slow response when the Client is setup for both IPX and IP as NW4 is primary IPX you can remove the TCP/IP.
