I'm working on a plan to upgrade from NT4 to 2003 but have some questions.
1. We currently have an NT4 network. We use the DNS on our firewall/router. When I install 2003 on the new PDC I need to install DNS for AD, correct? Or can I just tell it to use the DNS in our firewall? If not should I just install DNS locally? How do I tell it to also use the DNS in our firewall?
2. Do the workstations need to use the DNS on the 2003 server? Can they just use the old DNS settings? On our Kiosks we have no DNS (they use host files so they cant surf the net).
Thanks
