Sounds like SP6 might have upgraded a driver file that your PC does not like. Usually the type of error you are getting is related to hardware. You might try booting up into vga mode just to see if it boots. If it does, then you are most likely looking at a video driver issue.

Ive managed to sort it - it was a problem with NIC teaming.
CPQNTAC.sys cause blue screen when SP6 is applied.
Needed to install SP11718.
Had to phys remove the card then copy the new file into the folder.
