We have 20 + NT 4.0 Servers. Recently, we upgraded all our servers to Internet Explorer 5.5. Following this minor change, four of the servers crashed during the reboot, which followed the I.E. 5.5 install. Here is the error:
"OS Loader V4.01
Windows NT could not start becuase the following file is missing or corrupted:
\wtsrv\system32\config\systemhardware profile\last known good menu
You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows NT setup using the original setup floppy disk or CD-ROM. Select 'R' at the first screen to start repair."
I.E. 5.5 is the only common component of the four servers that crashed. Any help would be appreciated.
