I am having trouble with an NT login script. I get system error 67 when trying to map a drive. The users all have acces to this drive but it does not want to show up!

What system are you running the login script on? mot98

The share is located on a Win2K server but the Client is a NT4 Workstation.

I just tested mapping a drive from a NT workstation to Win2K server, and it works fine.

What is the syntax you are using for the "net use" command? mot98

Here is an exact sample of the script.
net use r: \\fswpg01\shared

hi,

The system error 67 means that "the network name cannot be found". PLease check the path and shred resource.

Try to replace the name of the server by it's ip-adres...

Are you using WINS or DNS? -----------------------
Systems engineer, MCP

I changed it to the IP address and it worked.
Thanks to all.

Sounds like you have a name resolution problem, check your WINS settings.
