Does anyone know how to turn on the "New" option in the NT Explorer?

Right now when I load NT Explorer, and select
"File" the "New" option is disappeared. Or when I right on the right panel of NT Explorer the "New" option is not there either.

Please help. Thanks

i1nguyd0,

Note: If you are working directly off of My Computer the New option is not available. For example, in your right pane you see 31/2 Floppy [A:] [C:] [D:], Your Network Shares, Control Panel, Printers, etc. etc.
You will notice that when you go into your local drive [C:] (or any place but directly off My Computer) the new option will be available. I am not sure why you cannot create a new folder right off My Computer. Maybe because it this is where local drives and network shares appear together?
Anybody?

Thanks,
Brian

You exactly right I can see the same stuffs on the right pane. But when I go into the D: drive for example. The New option is not available. It's strange, isn't it? This just happen right after I update my IE from 4.0 to 5.5. Before I also have active desktop turn on. But now that's gone too.

I intend to overwrite explorer.exe from another NT workstation, but I do not know that will help.

Thanks you very much for your help, if you have ay idea Please let's me know.
