Hello:

I need to set up a security for an ASP-based application that's located on the Intranet. I have set users up in NT group, but in addition to that, whenever they get to the first page, I need to display an NT network box that would ask users to enter their network domain/network user id/network password for double protection. Once they enter the correct information, then I should let them see the application and work with it.

Any ideas how to approach this?

Thanks in advance,
Kate

The easiest is to go into your WebConfig file and set Authentication to "Windows".

You can even specify What groups you want to give access to.

Hope this Helps :)

You also need to go into IIS, Application properties, Directory Security Tab, Anonymous access and authentication control Edit button, and uncheck the Anonymous access box.
