Hi,

First of all thanks for taking time out to read this message.

I am new to NT 4 but have recently been asked to support an NT 4 server. I know windows 2000/2003 well and would like to know if you think I would have any problems getting to grips with this type of server. I hope to upgrade their NT 4 server to Windows 2003 Server asap but know that I will need to use it for approximately 5-6 months before upgrading the hardware and software.

Hope you can give me some advice.

Cheers,

Tomas.

Anyone have an answer or tip.

Cheers,

Tomas

They're pretty different, but as with all these things, intuition goes a long way.

I'd say if you're OK with 2000 / 2003, you'll be OK. NT is obviously more primitive, something that will work in your favour.
