Anyone knows how the "Volume current capacity" under "Edit device" works? We use 70GB for DLT4 tapes, but the actual written usages on the Volumes tab are all over the place from 12GB to 84GB and the Used column are all "full".
I could not find any Legato doco which explains about this.

We've had the same problem. Don't have a fix, but every once in a while we go into the volume list, right-click the volumes that are reported wrong, and change the mode to "appendable". This immediately changes the usage number to 3% (or whatever applies).

Anybody finds the fix - let me know...

There is a TID on the legato web site about this,go to legato.com then support - documentation - technical bulletins and then do a search for "tape full" should bring back a tid number 176 I think this is what you want to know.
