NT 4.0 SERVER SERVICE WON'T START

NT 4.0 TERMINAL SERVER<br>

The SERVER SERVICE will not start on reboot or when attempted manual start of service. <br>
<br>
Any suggestions.
 
Check the event log. copy the test from there to this posting then I might be able to tell you.
 
Server in classified spaces not accessable from here. Thanks for the effort.
 
Check your lan card. In a similar situation i found that my NIC was the faulty and server service was not starting b'coz of that.<br>

I had that and reapplied SP3 which solved it. Apparently the network card was installed after the initial SP3 application.
 
What is the message in the Event Log? Most variations of this message can be solved by reapplying the SP.
 
Start with the Event Log, anything their???<br>
Then Make sure nothing was recently changes in your configuration, hardware, etc...<br>
Then, That should tell you....<br>
Also, I am with a couple others, It sounds like a NIC card, or driver....<br>
