nsrexecd: failed to write NUL handshake

I have encountered this error message on a client that is sufferring from slow backup throughput (only about 12kb/s)

nsrexecd: failed to write NUL handshake on 5: errno 32, Broken pipe
nsrexecd: Recvd signal to kill process group - pid=-13327, sig=2

The backup of other client is ok.

Make sure that the network connection and name resolution are o.k. Test it with other tools (bigasm, see "Performanc e Tuning Guide").

However, you can't almost do anything if a lot of very small files causes this behaviour.

Check your NIC settings and also any switches etc in between the client and server, ensuring all settings are consistent.
