Ns700 with DT546 sets

Hello looking for some help and im new to this system. Our new office has a Ns700 system with Dt546 sets. We are trying to plug a dt546 in the xdp port on another in the same office. How can we make it a parallel of the that phone?

Do you want two parallel DT546 with the same number?

Yes that is preferred. The landlines work i just need to asign the phone set the same extension. We thought it would just be primary 104 and the phone in the xdp port would be 204.

No luck we got it programed but the slave phone still shows unassigned when plugged in to xdp port.
