Hi all,
I have an NS700 on my main site with IP Phones and I have two IP phones on my secondary site,
I have a Draytek 2862 on each site and a LAN to LAN VPN between,
Phones are registering however there is no audio on internal calls,
I use to get this on Avaya IPO sometimes however you could disabled direct media path and it resolved it,
Anyone has similar issues on Pana?

You have VLANs?.
I install Asterisk systems and notice that the phones on the VLAN separate from that on which Asterisk sit usually dont have audio until the other VLANs are added (Asterisk has provision to add VLANs.

If it was vlan issue as Panasonic doesn’t have that option on the system just the phone and if wrong

It will go peer to peer and you cant stop it

Since you have a vpn the phone setup on the extension card should be set to local. If remote it will not give audio

Could be issue with the VPN

To stop peer to peer I use a different P2P group

Check your handsets have gateway address at each site

Make sure set to local

How many sites ? Is it remote site to remote site without vpn between remote sites ?

Thanks all,
So a different P2P group forces PBX to hold onto call? if so that sounds like it will solve my problem

I would look at your site setup as you want peer to peer or it will hold onto DSP resource

It is only two phones on remote site and they rarely take calls so it wouldn't be a huge drama if it held to a DSP resource, however I will recheck everything
