Nothing personal but,
next to <blink> that auto scrolling is the most anoying thing I've ever seen.

didn't get past that to test the mp3, sorry.

The mp3 loaded for me (IE6), played fine.
I have to agree that the autoscrolling is annoying. Users who hit the site who don't have much ram, or have slow internet connection, will probably be really irritated...
Neat concept for the page, though.

I don't know if you care about NN4 but that's what I have at work. I'll test NN7 later this evening when I get home.

few javascript errors

background is white.
images do not fade and the "about" links do not work
"welcome music lover" doesn't apear

some other personal opinion stuff... when you fade the bands images away it leaves alot of empty space.

and always keep in mind, just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD. Some of the stuff on here is an interesting effect, typewriter text, fading images and so on, but more suted for a personal website, not a promotional site for a client.

Again that's just my opinion, no offence is ment to be taken.

Ok, not much better in nn7.
the background is black, the images do not fade, the "welcome music lovers" does not appear. the image you use for your bullets next to your about links is a text dot, the links work but the pointer turns into text edit pointer, not hyperlink pointer.

in IE when you mouse over the jukebox you get the image alt and the pop up song title. In NN you only get the Alt.

I couldn't test this in 4 because the about links didn't work, but in 7 the text in the about page never displays, only the picture.

oh and to answer your question, no the mp3 doesn't play either.

another tip, when you click on the juke box to play the song, make it open a new window so it doesn't take you out of the site.

also you can run both NN and IE on the same computer. I have NN installed to test my sites. It's amazing how different NN treats javaScript and CSS than IE does.

Thanks for the help bombboy. I've installed NS and will try get things working for it. I think I'm going to use a redirect and rewrite a site for it as there are too many conflicts between the 2 browsers.

If you do a lot of design, I would recommend you have working copies of the most common browsers. I have Opera, Mozilla, Netscape as well as IE on my home PC. I also have a Mac available, since Macs can really destroy what you would think is a good layout, especially in the ways they display colors.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
