I have just installed NRU 10 on my home computer. I cannot connect to the site (using fast rad) I installed the software on a PC at the site and it works fine. All setting are correct on my home PC. The only differance is my home computer is running win XP home and the PC at the site is win98. Is there a problem with NRU 10 and Win XP.

It dials i hear the modem but hen says "modem did not respond. Baud rate is set at 19200 i also tried 9600.

19200 is for direct connect and you must change your xp machine modem properties not just the nru modem settings both must be 9600

sounds a little crazy, but try connecting using an external modem on your home PC. Had the exact same issue and the problem turned out to be with the type of modem that came with my laptop. Connected a Zoom modem and it worked like a charm! Good luck!
