NRU 10.0 error on OLP worksheet aquire

I was trying to perform a`remote acquire on a MICS SP:30CQG05 NAT which I have to check to make sure there are no conflicts for networking to my site

I was told this is a 6.1

I keep receiving a OLP & ICS Workbook error

"Connection to ICS Failed

Map file AOF01ENG is required"

I have performed a bunch of acguires previously on NRU 10.0

Has anyone seen this error?

you need to get hold of the map file ... the original NRU10s had them missing.

I may have a solution to your problem. Go to customer info screen highlight customer and click on RUNTOOL MENU. Click SELECT WOOKBOOK. For your info box should appear - click OK. The OPEN box should appear. Highlight NAICS6_1 and click OK. Security warning box should appear, click ENABLE MACROS. I am running XP Pro and I get Microsoft Office Excel box click OK. Click ICS MENU and select CONFIGURE WORKBOOK. If your software version is SP30CQ--- make sure the 3rd circle down is checked and not the first circle for SP30CP--- which is MICS 6.1 USA XC software. Click OK.

I would have to agree with you. I looked through all the map files. I would think there would have to be an update of the NRU10 Program in order to accomplish this so that it would direct the 6.1 OLP Workbook to also see this map file.

Do you have some enlightening information about this missing .map?

Your info ends up showing you the Map files of the workbook involved- which had me confirm which map files all Workbooks looks for & confirm the Map files folder.

NAICS6_1 looks for one of the following:

AME00ENG.MAP for CT2
AOE00ENG.MAP for NAT1
ANE00ENG.MAP for ETIQ

Just did a software upgrade on an 0x32.Had that problem. 6.1 needs NRU 10.1 I downloaded it from my companys web site. Don't know if you can down load it from Nortels web site.

I contacted Nortel ITAS when this happened to me and they emailed me the new map files required.

I am trying to acquire the information off our MICS usin NRU and when attempting this I get the error "AOF01eng.map does nor match AOE00eng.map" Any body know what this means? Thanks.
