Hi, We have 02 sites (both CS1000E, rls 5.0) tied through NRS using SIP. Site-A is primary, Site-B is Alternate at another Site-C a CS1000E was also installed and it was also tied with a CS1000E (Site-D) using SIP/NRS but now NRS/SIP was disconnected and Site-D was discarded.
Now we need to setup NRS between SITE-A and Siite-C (Site-B will be use as standalone).

Site-A will remain primary and Site-C will be lternate.

At site-C , i changed ALternate/primary NRS IP (by booting through CF card abd using option for changing basic SS configuration), after these changes SS was rebooted and when i launch NRS it still shows Old NRS IP. i again checked SS after booting it through CF card and i can see old alternate/Primary NRS IPs are still there, i also tried by formatting SS HDD and reinstalling new software from scratched but when i load element manager it shows all old configuration (node/MGC etc..) and when i launch NRS page it showes old NRS IP....I need to remove old NRS IP from this SS..can somebody advise why it(EM) is showing all old MGC/Node and NRS config even after formatting Hard disk and installing all software/pathes/IP`s from scratch?? and how can i remove old NRS ip??
Could somebody advised a brief step for this?
Thanks and regards

Remember that the node information is stored in the Call Server, therefore if you want to start from scratch first you must delete the node from Element Manager if not every time you reboot the CS will re display the stored information

Hi Pal thanks for the info, Do i first remove Node and then change NRS IP?? does it also required Call Server reboot?
Thanks

You can edit the node without removing it. Just be sure to transmit the node information to all elements after making your changes. And you don't need to restart the call server for the changes to take effect.
