We are about to start using Red Hat AS 4 for oracle and wanted to know what backup agent should we deploy?

Backup Exec doesnt have a Oracle agent for Unix
You can install the RALUS or Legacy Unix agent to backup the files providing you running Oracle Rman and dumping the backups to disk.

Ralus agent requires a license for Backup Exec
