If anyone manages any ACCS sites, this IPO release fixes a bug where ACCS could register to IPO and calls can flow, but the sync was failing. Everything syncs up now on the new release.

So far I am quite happy with the stability of this release, we haven't seen any major bugs/issues since upgrading last week.

I just got off the monthly Avaya IPO conference call and picked up a bit more information about the cordless D200. The hardware will be available for order in mid-December, but there is yet another software update needed beyond 11.1 FP2 that was released last week. To support the D200 11.1 FP2 SP1 will be required and that won’t be released until mid-January.

@tac84 cheers legend!

Docs released but UC module and Soft Console software still missing...

Has anyone noticed with this Release that the Web Manager takes a really long time to load once you click on 'IP Office Web Manager' off the initial landing page?

No delays with using Manager on a PC.

Tac84 I think it has always been like that.

Just installed server edition tonight and the User Portal scaling is F'd on all the main browsers and 2 different computers I've tried. Got all excited too because onex sucks, workplace sucks and web communicator sucks. Havent tried the Soft console yet, hopefully they didnt mess that one up cuz that's actually been pretty good for the last few years.

@blakob are you using a high-res screen? It loads and shows just fine on my PC on a 1080p screen

Avaya apps have never handled scaling well, Agent Desktop for ACCS doesn't handle it at all and it shows as a tiny box on 4k screens

WOW what an absolute mess! Looks like they will be posting new links on or by 10 December 2021.

Oh for fucks sake. I have already upgraded a customer to this release in a vain attempt to fix a transfer issue with ACCS.
I am so fucking beyond done with these half-baked releases, I can't trust anything they put out any more.

@BFG9K I hear you mate. This has got to be one of their worst releases to date. They just don't test in house.
I upgraded my home office, not having any issues at all. I think the key issue is making sure that If you're upgrading the J-Series SIP handsets, to ensure you follow the correct upgrade path. I was lucky because I already had mine on the latest release, then upgraded to R11.1 FP2. Totally agree with you though...

@tac84
@BFG9K

If you already did upgrade to FP2, fine. Nothing to worry about!
The core software itself is good and really fixed a lot of issues. I would say, it's probably the best release since a long time.

But just before release, something went wrong. The wrong VMPro client got packaged. And also with the very latest version of phone firmware.
I personally did not experience any problem with J100 upgrades, but this process is not verbose anyway. It looks like someone's phone did not upgrade well. Therefore, the firmware got removed from downloads as a precaution.
Normally, we do complain if Avaya does not include the latest firmware for phones. This time it's also not good when they did so. [sadeyes]

Again. If already upgraded and no issue: keep that.
If planing to upgrade, wait until next week. Otherwise, to be on the safe side, make sure J100 and 96x1 do not load new firmware. Save [tt]J100Supgrade.txt[/tt] and [tt]96x1Hupgrade.txt[/tt] and store them as real files - delete them after upgrade to re-released FP2

Seems they just replaced the J100 firmware including the old one (4.0.7), that's what says the new release notes

Just patched our lab system, seems to be working fine. Interestingly our J100 phones had no issue with the dud firmware.

@BFG9K I got lucky too. My handsets are fine on the firmware. Saying that I usually upgrade them as soon as I see a new release and the problem impacts those who jumped from 4.0.7 (I think?) to the latest..
