Novell 6.5, Arcserve 11.1 restore from console problem

I'm having problems restoring directories at the server console. I'm able to login to the server in the Brightstor Arcserve Scheduler as the admin, [RESTOR PATH] insert my destination path, in the filters I include the directory that I want to restore, I leave the options unchanged. [Directory Structure] is set to Do Not Create Base Directories [File Conflict Resolution] is set to Overwrite All Files.

Each time I try to restore a directory I get a message that states the restore was incomplete. Just before posting this message I was able to restore an individual file using the same setup described above. Also, when using the Arcserve Manager (GUI) I'm able to restore any thing that I want.

Can anyone help me understand why I can't restore a directory at the console?

I'm pretty sure the console still only supports 8.3 files/directories, so if you were trying to use longfilenames then this might account for the problems you are seeing.

The directory names that I've been choosing to restore are the ETC directory and the bin directory on the root of the SYS volume. As you can see these are really short. The file that I restored was fairly short as well. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
